We're proud that Portsmouth is hosting UK Pride 2025.

We know that Portsmouth is a welcoming and accepting place, with liberal values at its core. That's why it's natural that Portsmouth was picked to host UK Pride this year, celebrating our city's commitment to equality, community, and human rights.

Portsmouth Lib Dems won't have an official stand at Portsmouth Pride this year as organisers - along with organisers of Pride events in London, Manchester, and Brighton - are focussing of championing community this year, but local Lib Dems will be supporting the event personally and we hope to see people from all over the city (and region) coming together to celebrate love.

Pride Month 2025

Free To Be Who You Are

We are proud to be the party that fought for equal marriage, led the campaign against Section 28, and spearheaded the campaign to pardon thousands of gay men who had been criminalised for loving who they loved - and we're still fighting for equality.
