New Balance for Portsmouth City Council

12 Nov 2025
Portsmouth

Portsmouth City Council has a new balance, with 18 Lib Dems, 9 Labour, 8 Reform, 4 Conservative and 1 Independent

Jason Fazackarley regularly moves parties within Portsmouth City Council. He has been a member of five parties - The Greens, Labour, an Independent councillor, a Lib Dem and now Reform. It is regrettable but not unexpected that he has moved party yet again.

The Liberal Democrats are focused on delivering for the people of Portsmouth, including working hard to fix our broken health and care services, tackling the cost-of-living crisis and holding water companies to account.
