Cllr Kadir Organises Community Iftar for Portsmouth

Cllr Abdul Kadir celebrated Iftar today with members of the local community in a celebration co-hosted with Cllr Shah to raise money for two local charities; Abby's Heroes and Pompey in the Community.

Iftar is the fast-breaking meal eaten by Muslims during Ramadan. It was added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2023. About 10,000 Muslims live in the city, contributing to the rich diversity of Portsmouth.
