Bring back a bank to North End

Campaigner Richard Adair has launched this petition to support a local campaign to bring back a bank to North End.

North End is a densely populated residential area, built around a busy shopping centre. Two years ago, the last bank in the area shut.

Physical banks are still important to many local residents and small businesses. People want to talk face to face and have somewhere to deposit cash and cheques.

The Government and banks promised areas like ours would not be left without a bank.

Now we can see they've broken that promise!

Helen King, a local North End resident, launched a campaign to get a bank opened.

Although Local Lib Dems like Lee added their voice to hers, so far, the call has fallen on deaf ears.

With her agreement we are now upping the pressure by launching a petition to try to bang heads together at the top.

Help us finish what Helen King started.
