Your St Thomas candidate: Ian Holder

Introducing your St Thomas ward candidate in the May 6th local elections: Ian Holder

"I was born and brought up here in Portsmouth. I live in Pembroke Park in Southsea with my wife Liz (who is a teacher) and our two daughters. I work for a prestigious automotive manufacturer solving problems for the company and I want to use some of those skills at the City Council.
I've been campaigning with the other Lib Dem councillors Rob Wood and Chris Attwell to make sure the new sea defences are of really good quality, that the Common is protected and that when Horatia and Leamington Houses are demolished there is no loss of council accommodation for local families.
Along with the Lib Dem councillors supporting local residents is at the heart of what I do. Whether it's getting rubbish removed from streets, working to protect residents from the effects of large Houses in Multiple Occupation or getting a secure dog walking area built near the seafront. This is what we do.
I hope you will support me to be part of the Lib Dem team running the City Council in the Council Elections this spring."
