This has been confirmed and from 1st May, the stretch between the Ocean at the End of The Lane (Western end of Canoe Lake) and St George's Rd plus the stretch from the D Day Car Park to Hovertravel, will be kept closed.
Deputy Leader of Portsmouth City Council Cllr Steve Pitt said - "We're glad we've been able to put this in place, it's clear how popular the seafront is,
but it's vitally important that people living near the seafront can use it safely for their daily exercise. We would want everyone using our beautiful seafront for running, walking or cycling to follow the government guidelines and to stay at least 2m away from people not in your household."
