Bobby Tera - Copnor Ward

Bobby is our candidate for Copnor Ward in the 2021 Local Elections.

Bobby was born in South India (Nalgonda) and moved to the UK after finishing his engineering degree. He went to University of East London to complete his Masters in Wireless Communications and to University of Royal Holloway to study a Masters Degree in Project Management. Bobby moved to Portsmouth to work at Lakeside business park in 2013. He fell in love with Portsmouth and has lived here ever since. From the time he moved to Portsmouth, he has lived in Copnor with his wife and two daughters - one of whom goes to the Lyndhurst Junior School. Bobby likes Portsmouth because it's got everything you can think of; the beautiful beach, the city centre, the nightlife, the University, shopping centres, gyms and most of all a significant place in British history. Bobby loves being part of the Portsmouth community and bringing his children up here. He now believes it's time for him to give back to the local community by working to make it better for everyone. He has also used every opportunity to volunteer at his workplace to contribute to charitable organisations that help children with special needs.
Bobby's main priorities for Copnor ward include resolving any parking issues, addressing anti-social behaviour, improving facilities in the parks for families to use and also improve the cleanliness of the roads.
