Action Saturday

Under 2 months to go!!

Polling day is on 3rd May and we are now heading into the home straight.

That is why each action day becomes more and more important, as we try to make sure our positive message for change is reaching every household in the city.

If we want to regain control of the Council and deliver:

  • Action on homelessness
  • More affordable housing
  • A solution to delayed discharge at QA
  • Parking zones for those who vote for them
  • The restoration of Off The Record
  • The restoration of a community transport service
  • Action on crime and disorder
  • Protecting our green spaces and tackling air pollution

Then we need your help!

We are currently getting our candidate leaflet out across our target wards and we need to make sure we complete the task before we deliver our manifesto to local homes in a couple of weeks.

If you can knock doors or help deliver, then join us this Saturday and help us give St Thomas Ward and our councillor Rob Wood a boost.

We will meet in our office at 220 Fratton Road from 9.30am for hot drinks and pastries and then hit the streets from 10am.

Lunch will be served by Terry and John Hall in the office.

After the afternoon session, we will meet for drinks in The Dolphin, Old Portsmouth at 5pm.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you in the office on Saturday morning as we take another major step towards securing a Lib Dem Council here in Portsmouth.
