Lib Dem Campaigner Richard Adair recently spent the day in Wimbledon Park helping at a community fun day. Richard commented: "It's really good to be helping local residents at the Wimbledon Park community fun day. Even the rain didn't put off several 100 local residents and children coming to find out more about animals, birds, bats and insects with Hampshire and IoW Wildlife Trust."
The local community arranged the day led by Claire Seek. There is now a permanent and growing 'willow dome' for youngsters to enjoy. Fratton Big Lottery's Ana Potten attended to add some local art to the event. The very cheerful local neighbourhood police team got involved too. It was a very good day - you can only get wet once they say.
