Paul is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Drayton & Farlington Ward in the 2018 local elections.
Paul is married with four grown-up children and runs a training and consultancy business for the construction industry from his home. He enjoys walking, cycling and sailing.
Paul is a graduate of Salford University and has worked throughout the UK as well as in Europe, the US and the Middle East on a variety of construction projects including the Olympic Games. He has been the chairman and served on the board of a national trade association and sat on a number of BSI sub-committees.
Paul spent 20 years as a scout leader and has in the past served two terms as a Lib Dem councillor on West Berkshire Unitary Council where he played an active role on planning, local transport and facilities for young people. Paul also chaired his local Area Forum which involved regular meetings that brought local residents face to face with councillors and council officers to discuss any items of concern. Paul is currently active in developing a local neighbourhood plan and is a supporter of Amnesty International and Greenpeace.
