'A City To Share'

Around 40 local people, including local Lib Dem Councillors Suzy Horton, Lee Hunt (both Central Southsea Ward) and Matthew Winnington (Eastney & Craneswater Ward) recently attended the University of Portsmouth Business School to hear about Portsmouth Cycle Forum's strategy 'A City To Share'.

The strategy sets out how our city's roads and junctions can be planned better to encourage more and safer cycling, thereby reducing fumes and accidents. Cllr Winnington, who is also a cycle forum member, said: "I really hope the Council adopts this strategy and gets behind A City To Share, after all it was the Council that asked us to do it."
